Developing Tomorrow’s Solutions in Nordic Test Facilities conference gathered municipalities and hospitals engaged with healthcare solution testing and development, as well as companies and start-ups to Oslo on November 8th. Nordic test beds project team participated to the event hosted by Nordic Innovation together with two other Nordic test bed projects; Nordic Business and Living Lab Alliance and Nordic Network of Testbeds.
In the NoTeB project session public sector needs for cooperation with industry partners was discussed by Juha Korpelainen, Chief Medical Officer of Oulu University Hospital. In addition, NoTeB session included a panel debate on how and why collaborate with test facilities.
In the conference Nordic Innovation launched their new publication called Nordic Infrastructure of Test Facilities, which gives an overview over actors involved with test facilities in the health and welfare sector in all the Nordic countries. The publication is meant as a tool for both companies and test facilities curious about the opportunities for testing in the Nordic region. In addition to key information about more than 60 Nordic test facilities in the health sector, the publication also includes articles about testing in municipal and hospital care with perspectives both from the supply and demand sides.
